Privacy Notice

This notice explains how the London Dragons use personal information when you contact the club, enquire about joining, become a member or place an order through Dragons Shop. For privacy enquiries, email manager@londondragons.com.
Information We Use
We use the information you give us, such as your name and contact details, the university and player information you provide when joining, and the contents of your enquiry. Shop orders include your chosen items, sizes and any personalisation, together with contact and delivery details. Payment information is handled through the checkout payment provider. Please do not send payment card details by email or through the contact form.
Why We Use It
We use this information to answer enquiries, arrange invited practice or tryout sessions, check eligibility, administer membership and club activities, fulfil shop orders and provide order support. Processing needed for membership or purchases is connected with those arrangements; responding to enquiries and running the club relies on our legitimate interests. We may also need to keep information to meet legal obligations. Where an optional use requires consent, you can withdraw that consent.
Who Receives It
Information may be accessed by club volunteers who need it for their role. Wix provides the website, enquiry and shop services, and checkout payments are processed by the selected payment provider. We forward merchandise order details to our manufacturer once a month so orders can be produced and fulfilled. This includes the item choices and any personalisation, and contact or delivery details where needed. We share the information needed for the task.
The Prospective Player form is hosted through Google Forms. Google provides that form service and has its own privacy policy. The form identifies optional demographic questions used to help with grant applications; you can leave those optional questions unanswered.
How Long We Keep It
We keep information for as long as it is needed to handle the enquiry, membership or order, resolve related questions and meet any applicable recordkeeping obligations. The period depends on the purpose and the type of record. Contact us if you would like to know about a particular record.
Your Rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your information, request its deletion, object to or restrict its use, or ask for a portable copy. Some rights have exceptions. Send requests to manager@londondragons.com. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Cookies and Other Websites
Our Wix website and embedded services may use cookies or similar technologies. Some support functions such as the shopping cart and checkout.
